The leak has also suggested that different features will be granted to the two versions. This smartphone joins the Vivo Y300 Pro which was launched in the country in September last year.
Vivo Y300 5G specs
As per a Weibo post by tipster WHYLAB, the Vivo Y300 5G will feature a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor and up to 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM in China. The post also mentions that the handset will offer four different RAM and storage options — 8GB + 128GB, 8GB + 256GB, 12GB + 256GB, and 12GB + 512GB. Naturally, we can expect it to feature OriginOS 5 based on Android 15.
According to the tipster, the Vivo Y300 5G will sport a 6.77-inch OLED flat display with a 2,392 x 1,080 pixels resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, an 8-bit colour depth and Diamond Shield Glass protection on top.
Based on the data, this display carries top manual bright point 800nits, 1,300nits worldwide top brightness and 1,800 nits regional top brightness. The display runs 3,840Hz high-frequency PWM dimming and 2,160Hz by default with developer mode. According to the tipster, the display will also support oily hand touch.

For photography, the tipster claimed that the Vivo Y300 5G in China will sport a 50-megapixel 1/2.76-inch Samsung S5KJNS primary rear sensor and a 2-megapixel 1/5-inch Galcore GC02M1 depth sensor. For the front camera, it is likely to use an 8-megapixel 1/4-inch light-sensitive unit OmniVision OV08D10.
The Vivo Y300 5G has also received a confirmation on battery front as the company has confirmed a 6,500mAh battery for the phone in China. According to the tipster, the phone will come with support for 44W wired fast charging. It will house triple speakers with AAC 1326D, AAC 1116B, and Goertek 0809 with a total output of 4.5W. We know for sure it supports 3D panoramic sound immersion.
According to the tipster, the Vivo Y300 5G features an in-display short-focus fingerprint sensor for the Chinese variant. For connectivity, the phone is expected to feature Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 5.4. The handset is expected to sport the IP64 dust and splash resistance rating.
